Video Marketing Part 2- How to Use it

Video marketing has been steadily increasing in popularity when it comes to a company’s promotional strategy. A year from now, video is projected to dominate about 85% of all internet searches, so if your company isn’t already familiar with video marketing, it’s time to jump on board. Here are a few different ways you can incorporate video into your next promotional strategy.

About Us: Is there a better way to show your customers what your company is all about than a video? Not only could this project be featured on your website, it can also be a promotional tool to show clients. It is an engaging way to communicate your company’s background, values, and mission statement. Customers will gain a visual experience that stands out from basic text and photos.

Product Demonstrations: Having a new and innovative product may not take off as you planned due to the consumer not being aware of it or not understanding the benefits of your technology. Using video to demonstrate the product features is like an in-store demo by a sales representative at a fraction of the cost. A video will peak the customer’s interest and leave them with a better understanding of the product.

Customer Service: Using video to answer frequently asked questions can save your customer service team hours upon hours assisting customers over the phone. Short and interactive clips will help the customer navigate to find a solution to their problem and avoid the frustration of being put on hold over the phone.

Video Newsletters: Increase your ROI with email marketing by using video newsletters. It is 50% more likely that a customer will read an email newsletter that features a video. Don’t just tell, but show your customers what your company is doing and why they should care with an informative but brief monthly video.

Testimonials: According to Nielsen.com, 70% of people claim they would believe a testimonial from a stranger. Video testimonials are incredible forms of word of mouth advertising. It’s a way for your company to highlight your successes in a sincere manner plus, you have complete control over the selected content.
